Apple Hill Gathering

Last Saturday our church had a fantastic day gathering together at Apple Hill. The weather was perfect, the apple pie was delicious, and the kids had a great time too. My guess is that about 60 or 70 of us were there at some point. I am really glad our family skipped a make up soccer game so we could enjoy having lunch with so many people from our church. It reminded me of how much I love the people in our church and how encouraging everyone is. My son, Liam, and I also had a great time walking through the "maze." The maze was really just a bunch of trees and a trail, but we had fun walking and talking and sharing a moment together. I've already heard from several people that they want us to go up together again next year. We'll definitely do that!

Each month we are planning a fun activity for our church to gather together and invite friends to. Our next gathering is on Wednesday, December 10th, when we'll go ice skating together in Old Town Folsom. I am really looking forward to showing my sons how to ice skate. After Christmas, we are planning a snow day on Satruday, January 31st, when we'll gather together at snow park and lodge. It'll be a great chance to enjoy the snow together as a church family!
